In order to perform it properly it is necessary to have a lot of room on the dance floor — something that is hard to come by in these days of crowded ballrooms. The stance for the Slow Foxtrot is — as in the other so-called „English“ dances, the Waltz and the Quickstep — erect with the shoulders completely relaxed. The main characteristic of Slow Foxtrot music is the fluidity that „carries“ the dancers so that their steps flow effortlessly and one figure merges into the next without any rough edges. SLOW FOXTROT This Long Play Microgroove Record can be played only on 45 RPM instruments with a cartridge with microsaphire which puts a pressure of about 8-10 grammes on the record or with a special stereo cartridge of 5-6 grammes. — Printed in Germany —
